TagVault.org Flyer - spread the word

TagVault.org is a member driven organization and the more members from the SAM eco-system we have working together to solve the difficult problems of software identification and software entitlement reconciliation, the better.

SAM is not a one-off project, nor is it an easy process to implement in an organization.  Many of the reasons it is difficult and expensive to implement a SAM program have to do with the fact that software publishers and SAM tool providers have not defined standards that everyone can work to.  The ISO/IEC 19770-2 standard is a first step in the right direction of making SAM easier, less expensive and significantly less resource intensive.

TagVault.org is a neutral, 3rd party, non-profit organization that is tasked with making the implementation of software tags, easier and faster for software publishers and SAM tool providers will also making it much more managable for end-users or SAM practitioners.  TagVault.org sees the struggles organizations have with SAM processes as problems to be solved for all members and is working to fix the problem!  If you want to help solve this problem as well, download this flyer (available below as well) and send it to your coleagues and peers.  Make them aware of TagVault.org and the fact that as soon as the ISO/IEC 19770-2 standard is published (expected in 2009), there is a better way towards effective SAM programs!
